What We Do

What We Do

Communion is the Mission helps parishes, dioceses, and lay groups recover lived communion. Through retreats, conferences, leadership training, and practical resources, we walk people from vision to practice — showing that programs don’t renew parishes, communion does.

  • Cast the Vision – Through retreats, parish missions, or gatherings, we name the symptoms, reveal the deeper wound, and proclaim the bigger picture: the Eucharist alive, communion lived, parishes renewed.

  • Form Core Teams – We work with emergent leaders (often not the “usual suspects”) to build small cores of prayer, fellowship, and accountability. Friendship comes before structures, and from that trust, mission grows.

  • Strengthen Families – Cores expand naturally into households. Families pray, eat, and live life together, rediscovering Catholic life as normal and shared. This becomes the seedbed of parish renewal.

  • Anchor in the Eucharist – Everything flows from the altar: Mass, confession, adoration. We help Catholics explicitly connect Sunday worship with daily life, so what we receive at the altar becomes the fabric of our week.

  • Send and Multiply – Healthy cores flow back into parish life with new vitality and credibility. Ministries are no longer run by one exhausted volunteer but by communities. Over time, this pattern multiplies and renews the parish from within.

Communion is the Mission isn’t a program to tack onto parish life. It’s a way of life — recovering the essence of the Church: Eucharistic communion lived daily. We help you take the first steps, and we walk with you as that seed grows into lasting renewal.
